- Full external recladding
- Roof replacement
- Fire compliance improvements — upgraded framing and fire separation systems
- Structural integrity upgrades
Structural Integrity & Compliance
A key component of the project was ensuring the building met current fire protection and structural compliance standards. This required upgrading internal framing, enhancing fire separation systems, and improving external weather tightness through recladding.
Outcome
On completion, the Bedford Street apartment block was transformed into a safe, compliant, and modernised residential complex. The refurbishment significantly improved structural integrity, weather protection, fire safety, and overall liveability — delivered on time within the 25-week programme.
