Our History & Evolution
Founded in 2005 by Richard Cawson and Lance Pearson, Access | Partners in Property began as a small operation with a singular, ambitious vision: to elevate the standard of property maintenance services across New Zealand. Over the years, we have evolved into a comprehensive, multi-division company renowned for our expertise, integrity, and highly personal approach to client relationships.
Our growth has been strategically driven by a commitment to delivering high-quality, end-to-end property services:
- 2005: Access | Partners in Property founded by Richard Cawson and Lance Pearson.
- 2017: Welcomed Gunac | Waterproofing Specialists — bringing 50 years of expert waterproofing experience into our fold.
- 2021: The Building Wash Company joined us, significantly expanding our building washing and industrial abseiling capabilities.
- 2024: Acquired Waikato Property Maintenance (WPM) and WayDgo Site Care Services, strengthening our regional presence in the Waikato.
Today, our specialist divisions work seamlessly together to deliver complete property solutions — from complex construction and major metal roof replacements to everyday building repairs.
